Three Serpents pendant necklace

The fascination of the medieval artists of the Book of Kells with the serpent (he was reckoned to be the wisest of creatures and to be capable of rebirth by shedding his skin) in given free rein in this piece where the three serpents compete for space in a riot of ingenious design.

18mm (3/4”) diameter. Includes 45cm (18") chain. All in sterling silver. Deep laser engraving.
