Kells Serpent

An illustration from the Gospel of Mark in the Book of Kells has a tiny detail showing a serpent (the serpent was respected for his wisdom and apparent ability to renew himself by shedding his skin). We used the minute drawing to make this design and the little serpent was reborn 1000 years after he first appeared. A wonderful conversation piece.
