The heron occurs frequently in Gaelic tales and superstitions, usually connected with good (or bad) luck in setting off on a journey. They are seen frequently on Skye, usually motionless and stalking their dinner in the shallows or in ponderous flight to the next favourite patch of shore - or over nearby MacLeod's Tables as in this beautiful piece.
17mm (11/16") diameter. All sterling silver.
Also available as matching large pendant and small pendant.
