Pick a point anywhere on the surface and trace round the whole shape in your head (no, don't use a felt-tip!) and you end up back at the same point. So where is the other "side" of the piece? Everything has a "back" and a "front", doesn't it? Well ... all except shapes like this, but it's a long story. If you're not into the topology, just enjoy the piece for its smooth and sinuous beauty. A Skye Silver special.
